1. Eligible Rounds

• Only completed 18-hole rounds are counted.
• Rounds must be from completed tournaments or games.
• Each round considers total strokes and course par.

2. Score Differential

For each round, the score differential is calculated as:

Differential = Score − Course Par

Currently, slope rating is assumed as 113 and course rating equals par, making the differential effectively strokes over par.

3. Handicap Calculation Method

• Only the most recent 20 rounds are considered.
• Best (lowest) differentials are selected based on total rounds played.
• Fewer rounds include a small adjustment for fairness.

4. Number of Rounds Used

• 1 round → best 1 (adjustment -3.0)
• 2 rounds → best 1 (-2.5)
• 3 rounds → best 1 (-2.0)
• 4 rounds → best 1 (-1.0)
